Vinesh Phogat and Bajrang Punia have announced their alliance with Congress on Friday at the party headquarters at Delhi after meeting the party chief at his residence. This incident has surprised many nationwide.

After joining the party, she stated that “We had received a overwhelming support from all parties except Bhartiya Janta Party when we were being dragged on the road. This is why I have joined a party that supports women and stands with them from ‘Sadak’ to ‘Sansad’…”.

Vinesh has also assured the female sportsperson in India that she will firmly stand by them and support them to improve the condition of female participation in sports.

Bajrang Punia also retaliated the accusations made by BJP It cell on the very same occasion. He stated that they had wrote requests to many BJP female MPs but none of them had responded or supported to their cause. He also sternly accused BJP of standing by the people who commit atrocities against woman and has vowed his alliance to INC and this nation.
