Resignation Submitted to The President by PM Modi
The Prime Minister held the last meeting of the current Union Council on Wednesday, where it was decided to resolve the 17th Lok Sabha council in order of formation of new NDA government led by BJP. Shri Draupadi Murmu has also accepted the resignation from PM Modi until the new Government is formed. The President also Urged PM Modi to remain oversee the post until the 8th of June.
The term of the current Lok Sabha ends on 16th June 2024. The Oath taking ceremony is to be scheduled on 8th June after the NDA alliance dominated the election result by a narrow margin against the opposition especially the INDIA alliance. With wins over 294 seats in the pocket the NDA government will reinstate the office with Pm Modi being the Prime Minister consecutively for the third tenure as the Prime Minister of India.
Who will be attending the the NDA meeting?
The CM and Leader of Shiv sena (Eknath Shinde Faction) Eknath Shinde, Bihar CM and JDU Chief Nitish Kumar and N Chandrababu Naidu the Leader of Telugu Desam Party have already arrived in Delhi to attend the NDA meeting which will be held later in the day.

With Shiv sena winning 7 seats, TDP winning 18 seats and JDU with 12 seats these has helped the BJP to comfortably achieve majority in the elections totaling to 294 with BJP itself contributing 240 seats.
